Peer Review Process

At IJDMMS, we believe in maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and quality. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure that each article meets the highest scholarly standards. This process helps ensure the validity, relevance, and impact of the research we publish.

1. Steps in the Peer Review Process

The peer review process at IJDMMS follows these steps:

1. Initial Submission Review:
   Upon submission, the manuscript is reviewed by the editorial team for adherence to the journal's scope and guidelines. If the manuscript is aligned with our journal's objectives, it will proceed to the next step.
   
   

2. Assignment to Reviewers:
   Manuscripts that pass the initial review are sent to two or more independent expert reviewers in the field. These reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are tasked with evaluating the quality, originality, and relevance of the research.
   
   

3. Reviewer Feedback:
   The reviewers provide detailed feedback, including comments on the methodology, results, conclusions, and overall quality of the article. Reviewers may recommend acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection.
   
   

4. Decision:
   Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editorial team makes a final decision regarding the manuscript. Authors are then notified of the decision, along with reviewer comments and suggestions for revisions if needed.
   
   

5. Revisions & Final Decision:
   If revisions are required, the authors must address the reviewers' comments and resubmit the manuscript. The manuscript undergoes a second round of review to ensure that all revisions have been properly incorporated. Once the manuscript is deemed suitable, it is accepted for publication.
   
   

2. Types of Peer Review

IJDMMS uses a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to eliminate potential bias.

3. Ethical Guidelines

IJDMMS adheres to the ethical guidelines established by the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Our reviewers are required to maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure fairness in evaluating the manuscripts.

4. Reviewer Selection Criteria

Reviewers for IJDMMS are selected based on their expertise in the subject area, publication record, and experience in the field. We ensure that the reviewers possess the necessary qualifications to provide an informed, unbiased evaluation of the manuscript.
